Plenary 1: Big Tech: Risks & Rewards
Our chair Di, will be contributing to the discussion on how technology offers corporations a new dimension of tools that could enhance their ability to conduct business efficiently and aid them in activities which strengthen their corporate governance. However a balance is required between potential risks and rewards posed.
This session will discuss how investors can go about assessing common technology risks and opportunities as part of their stewardship activities. It will also consider the potential implications for collective board responsibility, regarding the oversight that falls within their fundamental governance duty.
